Pros
People are amazing, work is engaging/inspiring, company is on the rise both technically and monetarily. CEO is an ex-engineer who's been in the trenches, not some random corporate MBA with no soul handpicked by a VC BoD. Work-life balance is great: if you sign onto a work call when you're supposed to be OOO, people literally tell you to get off the call haha. Pay is very good. Leadership is impressively transparent. Something like 80% of the company is ex-SpaceX, but it's all talent and no crazy.
Oddly, despite this being the smallest, earliest, least-well funded of the 3 startups I've been at (although the funding story is definitely on the ups), I have by far the most confidence in this team's ability to solve the technical challenges ahead of us. This really feels like our game to lose at this point.
Cons
Free lunch two days a week is nice, but more lunch + better snacks/drinks/coffee (espresso maker plz) would be amazing. Health insurance needs an upgrade too tbh. That said, these things are in the noise for me though compared to all the amazing aspects of working here.
