Pros

ASTRSK isn't a traditional agency, and it doesn't want to be - there aren't many places where you have the ability to work on major client initiatives no matter what level you are. Assistant Account Executives secure top-tier media hits, and Senior Account Executives regularly participate and lead client calls. This isn't something you get the chance to do at bigger agencies or even other boutique agencies! At ASTRSK, we learn by doing - that's not everyone's style, and that's okay. But for those that embrace it, there are so many opportunities for growth. We're never pushed to sell clients on additional expenses, even just putting announcements over the wire, if it doesn't move the needle for their goals. We don't bill clients by the hour, and therefore everyone works as a team - no one's time is more important than anyone else's. Account Directors like myself don't just sign off on documents or show face with clients, we're in the weeds pitching, drafting briefing documents or building media lists if we need to. - Hybrid schedule - In-office lunch stipend - Stocked kitchen w/coffee, drinks and snacks - Unlimited sick days - WFH days *in addition to* hybrid schedule - Early Out Winter Fridays & Summer Fridays - Monthly Holisticly wellness stipend (use towards ClassPass, HelloFresh, Calm, BetterUp, Barry's Bootcamp, etc.)

Cons

Although the agency has a wide range of clients, specializing in working with startups comes with its challenges - we often work with internal points of contact who aren't experienced in comms/PR, and there's a level of education involved.
