- Boring products that are behind the times
- Old-fashioned culture and old-fashioned tools
- You are just left to your own devices and expected to get on with it
- Incredibly bad at training and on-boarding their English-speaking new employees. Don't expect any training or help whatsoever, and don't expect anyone to have any time for you.
- No team spirit and weak team management. My supposed team manager never bothered to call me. Not even once. No team meetings, no group chat, nothing.
- There is very little collaboration and people seem to be content to just do their bit
- Very "French" company. If you speak fluent French and are aware of French culture, you will be fine. If you don't you are left out in the cold. Your communications will be limited to the few people in the business whose English is good. A lot of the internal documentation and communication is in French only. The way business is done is the French way, not the US or UK English way. The way things currently stand, you will never ever be successful in this company unless you are French.
