Pros

Club members genuinely loves the staff! They want to get to know you and a handful of them stay true friends. Kindest membership I’ve ever worked for. They are so generous during the holidays and many of them give Christmas cards and cash to show appreciation . A beautiful club with so much potential to be a great work environment.

Cons

**SERVERS: this club has a no-tipping policy because you will be paid hourly. You will RARELY get tips and if you do, they are only in cash and not enough to rely on. If you like hustling for tips, this isn’t the place for you.*** Management is allllll over the place. Highest employee turnover I’ve ever experienced, except those who have been there for 8+ years (before current management was put into place existed). Morale is very low because a lot of people were promised roles that never came to them over time.

Pros

The grounds and clubhouse are gorgeous! The members are laid back & easy to please. Perks are good. Free lunches and free golf. Coworkers are generally nice.

Cons

Although coworkers are nice, 90% of them are also very lazy. Management have a very HANDS OFF approach. Different Depts are considered “more important” than others and that allows the employees in those depts to feel “untouchable” and that makes them feel entitled to simply NOT do anything that they don’t want to do. The work load is incredibly disproportionate. Some depts are allowed to sit at a table all day, getting assigned a handful of tables in a shift (if they are lucky) leaving them with hours to do side work and extra tasks but no one in charge to direct them. While other depts are left to pick up every single bit of the slack. Want to change that? Too bad....because no one knows what supervisor to take it up with. Seems like there is always a revolving door of employees. And for the employees that do seem to stick around can act very distrusting and territorial. a very “sneaky” atmosphere amongst the staff.
