Worst Job Experience I've Ever Had

Pros

AWESOME benefits and honestly it's just cool knowing you work for a big sports team in a big city. Unfortunately that's about it.

Cons

Good Lord where to start...I guess at the top. Management is AWFUL, I mean truly awful. They only care about themselves, not their employees and it shows. All the departments hate each other and the politics at this place are absolutely absurd. So much talking behind people's backs, even more back-stabbing. There's zero structure or direction and sadly it's often the lower level employees who take the grunt of it. Oh and about 99% of the management/CEOs are old white males so that should tell you what you need to know about "diversity."

If You Want To Grow And Be Valued, Go Elsewhere

Pros

Beautiful stadium to call a workplace. Special access to games, matches and concerts (also at the neighboring State Farm Arena.)

Cons

Don’t exhaust yourself trying to impress your higher ups. When there’s an opportunity for promotion or growth, you will get the short end of the stick. Take internal promotion with a grain of salt, favoritism will show over qualifications and work ethic. People are stiff here as well, given it’s what comes with the business but hire more personable and passionate individuals. Pay is insulting as well, go where you are valued.

Pros

Good perks, fantastic people at lower levels who are talented and enthusiastic about their work, lots of fun developments in recent years.

Cons

Lack of enough staff and market-comparable pay. Too many chiefs, not enough Indians. Recent new hires are prone to elitism. Leadership preaches values but doesn't come close to living them. Many only concerned about image.
