Power-hungry management, shady HR team

Pros

Ability to attend all of the home games and often get tickets for family/friends. Occasional tickets for other Arena events and concerts. "Lower" end of the totem pole employees (managers and below) are great people, down to earth, easy to get along with.

Cons

In order to protect my anonymity, I won't go too far into detail on my terrible experience, but I personally dealt with severe hostility and I know I was not alone in this as I watched others deal with the same treatment that stemmed from the same person. The "diversity and inclusion" ploy is just for show and doesn't mean anything at the end of the day. The root of the problems in the organization 100% stem from the shady HR team. When I first began experiencing hostility and harassment, I took my concerns to HR where the woman I spoke with tried to convince me that these things were happening because the person treating me that way "really liked me" and it was "tough love." I can assure you it was not at all the case, as "tough love" doesn't make someone dread showing up for work every day. Upon my departure, I requested an exit interview. I was denied and in-person meeting and instead sent a link to a Formstack survey which I spent a great deal of time on relaying my experience with facts, dates, receipts, etc. making sure to avoid my emotional ties to each situation in hopes to professionally articulate the issues within the organization with the purpose of trying to protect any future employees to have the same negative experience. At the end of the form, it asked if I would like a follow-up meeting and told me to choose my preferred method. I chose yes and said in-person or phone call would be fine. It has now been 3+ months and I haven't heard anything. I'd be surprised if they even read it. If it was read, it was not taken seriously which is highly concerning given the nature of the things I brought to their attention. I suggest staying away at all costs. The perks do not outweigh the corrupt people in upper management positions. It is clear by the amount of turnover that there are far better opportunities elsewhere.
