      Pros

      In a small shop, you're able to wear many different hats and your voice is listened to. It is a hard working but flexible environment.

      Cons

      It may not be right for someone more comfortable with a big company but if you are someone who likes flexibility in your schedule it could be a good fit.

      Pros

      Magazine has a good reputation and readership. The company is small, so each employee's contribution is important and noticeable. For someone looking to learn the business who doesn't mind multitasking responsibilities, this is a good fit.

      Cons

      Management does not have a disciplined process for the work flow, which results in inefficiencies and extremely heavy work loads as deadlines approach. While there are opportunities to build skills, there is no opportunity for career advancement with the company.
