Pros

Everyone is friendly, they train you on everything, and the Boss only wants you to succeed

Its a lot to do in a little amount of time, and its hard to shake off the negatives

Ridiculous work hours for little pay. If you're single, no kids, not real bills then maybe this can work for you. If you don't make sales, you don't get paid that's the bottom line. One pay period I worked over 80 hours training included. I was paid $443 I couldn't pay any bills. However the way they have you calculate is bs., I was expecting at least $1,200 that pay period. It was my first pay period so I thought it's get better. I was wrong next pay period I got paid $299... in disbelief. I absolutely QUIT!

When joining the team at Atlantic Coast Events, we offer a variety of different compensation plans that are discussed in your interview, hiring process, orientation, and bi-weekly during performance reviews. As a former representative you were explained of the bare minimum compensation for minimum efforts. Perform zero sales, expect zero extra commission and bonuses. Perform at an average or above average and higher standard, expect higher paychecks due to extra commission and bonuses well deserved. As an established direct marketing company in Greenville, complying with all of the the labor laws of North Carolina, it is impossible to withhold wages from employees without penalties. Our growth opportunity is most definitely not worth this risk. Here at Atlantic Coast Events, Inc. we pride ourselves in being direct and bold in our coaching, yet fair and patient with our representatives growth and development. However, we do understand and accept that when the immediate application of the training feedback and tools that are consistently provided are not taken seriously, we will part ways with that representative who cannot perform their job. This is why our client portfolio continues to grow and our retailer partnerships respect us. We will be taking your feedback into consideration. If you still have issues with how you were compensated, we would be more than happy to take any time out necessary to breakdown every day on every pay period throughout your history with us to explain in further detail. If this option does not work for you, please feel free to contact the NCDOL and file a complaint. I have been with ACE for about 7 months now, going strong. Everything that was gone over in the interview process has come to light. The growth potential is amazing if you put forth the effort.

If you aren't motivated in a fast-past environment, then this isn't for you.
