Pros

Weekly paychecks, and awesome coworkers. That's it. There is literally nothing else positive about DialAmerica.

Cons

The base pay is a complete joke. $8.15 an hour?? Really??? For what we have to do, that's criminally low! I currently work on the HealthFirst account, which is one of the toughest and demanding clients they have, yet I only get $9.25 an hour. I have no chance of getting an increase in pay unless I get a license, and even then, you're still underpaid. You have to follow a script, which is easier said than done. No two calls are ever the same, so how does a script help?? Another thing is the clean desk policy, which is ridiculously stringent. No coats allowed on the backs of chairs? How come?? We know we can't have our cellphones! Are you afraid we'll take pictures of our desktops with our coat sleeves and post them to Instagram? Another thing to consider are the breaks. You're only allowed three minutes for every hour you work. Are you serious?! It takes three minutes to even get to the bathroom!

Pros

You're not working outdoors. (five words)

Cons

The announced that the phone dialer (the computer that has the scripts and phone numbers to call) will be down every afternoon for one hour. We will have no one to call in that hour and we will not be paid while we sit there and wait for the dialer to come up again. base pay is $10 per hour, so we lose at least $50 per week. Is this legal?

Pros

There are a few good people that work for this penny pinching company.

Cons

I'm not sure where to begin. The longer I have worked there, the more money they have taken away. Promises that get broken, hours that get cut, and lies upon lies. 90% of the management has no clue what's going on and upper management doesn't care to fix it.
