Pros

Don't know. I would say that having the same base as a rep in Seattle, in a market 1/3 the size...but, I also had the same ridiculous quota. I guess the only REAL pro, is that if I hear someone tell me they want $48K/mo in annual billings, I know they're crazy.

Cons

Upper management has their head somewhere dark if they think anyone is going to hit $48K in annual billings every month. In my year there, I only saw 2 or 3 people hit it...once. I even heard they're raising the quota to $60K/ mo. Because, if no one can hit the target, you should probably raise it right?

Let this company be a last resort place to work

Pros

Fun events: music festivals/concerts, album release parties, etc. If you like working independently, good place to be. Tend to have autonomy in your work, but (some) teams offer additional support if needed.

Cons

This is NOT an employee-first company. They do not care about their employees. I repeat, they do not care about their employees. Constantly restructuring aka LAYOFFS! Health insurance is garbage. They recently implemented “unlimited PTO,” but it was followed up with a note from their “head of compliance” that they expect you to be available and responsive while you’re on vacation. I think the CEO desperately wants to hold onto the family business, but doesn’t always have its best interest. COO is phony. She is quick to make decisions without thinking of the consequences (she’s a panic decision maker)and doesn’t seem to understand that if the employees are properly equipped/supported to do their job then they will produce a great product, and in turn it will help the company and its revenue. Teams are severely understaffed and a lot of teams have micromanagers. Radio is generally struggling and upper-management is not young. Nothing against older folks, but to keep radio surviving you need some younger mindsets to infiltrate the executive team. The c-suite is overall closed-minded.

Pros

Working in a radio station is fun, and has many perks.

Cons

Management has NO IDEA how to run a digital marketing company. The goals are set WAY higher than industry standard, and the pay is below industry standard. I think they feel our revenues should be as high as the radio revenues.... not going to happen.
