Strong PR but said not done

Pros

* Cozy work culture. * Respect diversity. * High transparency in tactical (task) level. * Strong relationship with PR communities, particularly creative when sharing PR news with agencies. * Proprietary project management methodology with a live dashboard (remark: it is not the industry strength agile or scrum methodology).

Cons

* Employees are asked to provide good reviews in Glassdoor as part of first week on-boarding (yuk!). That explains why the Glassdoor review is always good. * Too much said not done. * High turnover for a small team - talented employees did not stay more than a year. * No matching risk mitigation plan for competition from both mature space companies (for real time communications in space) and also emerging space startups in the California. No need to bloat we are doing only deep space communications. This company is primarily a service company, and does not produce Intellectual Properties or new space technologies. It runs on debt financing. If other space companies (competitors such as SpaceX) provide deep space communication sooner, this is a real challenge.

Pros

A lot of work to do as majority of developers were laid off months ago Room for growth and impact as the workforce is reduced

Cons

Constant fear of layoffs due to new owners. A lot of SMEs are gone so there are certain workflows that aren't fully owned by a single person anymore
