Fear-based tactics

Pros

Friendly collaborative work culture with colleagues, you're given a variety of responsibilities

Cons

Management uses fear and intimidation on employees to try to reach company goals. Management constantly talks over employees and engages in personal attacks rather than listen. The funny thing is goals are still not reached and our partnership tier just got downgraded, so these tactics are counterproductive. While there is partner training, it is done in a vacuum and exists just to tick off a box to show the company has the necessary qualifications. The company does not accurately represent the professionalism of the external partner curriculum. There is a huge emphasis on meeting in the office even though 90% of the work can be done remotely. Management typically is abroad for weeks without any transparency as to why. Fake 5 star reviews reflect management's desperation to look good to outsiders. Avoid this company

Red flag- Avoid!

Pros

Talented & good colleagues always willing to help.

Cons

* London office only Bad management: instead of constructive feedback or guidance, they have a culture of pointing fingers and talking bad of others employees to other employees. A workplace should empower employees not break them down. High turnover: many people leave within months or even weeks. Bullying behaviour from the COO. Be ready to handle 2-3 different roles.

Pros

If Sauron’s eye looks far away, You just might work in peace that day. Disorder reigns, and plans collapse, But through the cracks, you may elapse. If fate is kind and blind to you, You'll dodge the fire—at least a few. Yet in the trenches, side by side, We share the weight, the pain, the tide. A bond is forged in nights of woe, A brotherhood of silent throes. And oh, the games of love and spite, A tangled web, a petty fight. Their triangles shift and twist anew, A tragic play with comic hues. But laughter fades, and truth remains, A gilded joke wrapped up in chains. For every pro must bow and bend, To mask the means, conceal the end.

Cons

If peace of mind is what you seek, This place will leave you worn and weak. Respect is rare, and stress runs high, With management's delusions nigh. They set demands both cruel and strange, Then act surprised when you complain. A hint of malice, cold and bare— A touch of narcissistic flair. They hold your visa in their grip, Then shove you down a sinking ship. Too scared to leave, you’ll bite your tongue, As bullying turns the meek to numb. The office here, a crowded canteen, Though job applications there remain unseen, Or worse, a room that’s small and tight, Where managers yell from left to right. They flirt, they bicker, waste your time, With tasks outside your job’s design. You’ll bring your own laptop, to your dismay, While nonsense tasks fill up your day. They’ll scream for work you weren’t assigned, No training, yet you’re maligned. Targets set beyond the stars, And failure met with threats and scars. And should you somehow meet their desire, The best reward? You won't be fired. Yet laws and ethics bend and break, As management makes grave mistakes. So if you value peace and grace, Stay far away from this workplace.
