Treatment of staff is a concern. Posted officers are treated well, but locally employed personnel are treated as second-class.

Other Australians. Representing home country. Good benefits.

Cons

Lack of work flexibility. LES vs Diplomats/Defence glaringly obvious. Constant posting in and out of staff makes it challenging to get things done. Some staff are mentally checked out of their job way before they actually leave.
