Pros

Can’t think of one any pros I could list were things promised to me when I got hired and ended up being lies

Cons

This company does not care about the RBTs at all. They will promise you guaranteed hours and cut them with no warning. I was sent into homes that were filthy ridden with bugs and unfit working conditions not conducive for therapy. There were so many unethical practices happening and communication was horrible. They will have you working 9-5 and only pay you 25 hours for the week. Just terrible.

Pros

$23 an hour pay was decent (however I hold a Master's degree and would of liked to make a little more). Ability to gain BCBA hours by helping with assessments was good experience.

Cons

During my interview I was asked how far I was willing to travel to clients and I said no more than 20 miles. After a few weeks into the job I was asked to go from my client to another client 35 miles away, and they told me to go the very next day, did not reach out ahead of time to ask if this was doable. When I told them this commute was not doable they said 35 miles was not bad and tried to force me to take the case. I quit that day.

Pros

In general, the job is easy. You run your program, look for triggers for behaviors, and learn to avoid them. If you or the client is having an "off day" you can "pair" all day aka play/relax.

Cons

Very little training, practically no materials provided for in home services. trying to get any materials is like pulling teeth. BCBAs seem to have a high enough churn rate as one client has had 3 bcbas in less than a year. Benefits are a joke. It's not worth being full time.
