Pros

they offer tons of training which is very nice.

Cons

They would not sign my supervision papers. If you are in this business to earn hours toward you BCBA exam, you are in the wrong place. They will not sign your papers. You have to go through long application process and then pay $75 for every hour of supervision. One of their values is Team Work, which translates to "don't ever complain or else". If you can work like a robot, kill all of your problem solving skills and creativity, and follow orders with no complains, then you can survive this non-rewarding experience. If you are looking for real hands-on experience and to shape your skills, this is not the place for you. To be fair, I might've had the worst supervisor on board, maybe if I had a different supervisor my experience would have been more positive.

Pros

Friendly BCBA's, that's about it.

Cons

Company was recently bough out by INVO Healthcare and they completely eliminated the Program Lead role and had all Program Leads move down to CTM2 (full-time ABA therapist, only guaranteed 30 hours), given 2 days to decide if we accepted or declined. They refused to let us see our potential schedules until we accepted but never talked to us about availability, simply saw an opportunity to fill open hours. There is talk of work/life balance but that is given little to no thought when filing your schedule. I cannot work weekends due to childcare and religious reasons but they never checked in with me in regards to my availability, still waiting to hear back about that. This company would have lots of talk about growing within the company which makes it very attractive. Unfortunately, you grow but then you get pushed down in roles after working hard to move up.

Pros

Flexibility in hours and trainings, plenty of opportunities to pick up hours.

Cons

Where do I begin.... Everyone is overworked and underpaid. The starting pay is horrible, you can go to smaller companies and make about $2-5 more depending on experience and the raises are down right disrespectful. BCBA's have a very "entitled" nature and don't really listen to the concerns of the therapist. There are too many meetings about nothing. Staff is told to effectively communicate but no one is willing to actually listen. When you ask questions your pointed to 20 people before you get an answer and each of those 20 people have made it seem like a hassle to answer the questions. Too many concerns about small things and not enough about the big things. Minorities are treated like minorities. Minority BCBA's are given the "problem" families and they call it "restructuring". The "problem" people in the company are all African American to be exact. Policies and procedures and "ethics" protocol change depending on the person or race.
