Pros

The families are amazing. I loved getting to know them and the children. Working with children on the spectrum is something I love doing.

Cons

The company is SO disorganized. Rarely got paid on time, lack of communication between everyone, BCBA not truly involved and really didn't even care about the clients, extremely dissatisfied parents, programs not geared towards individual clients, company didn't care about anything other than growing cliental- even if not properly staffed for it, the list goes on. This is the worst company I've ever worked for. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone trying to make a difference in these children's lives.

Pros

The idea of the company is great. Lots of awesome families. Lots of people who work on the clinician side are educated, passionate, and have a lot of potential.

Cons

HR is an absolute joke. It's a clique of people who work with their doors closed and spend most of their time taking personal phone calls and gossiping about other employees. There is no support from upper management. If you have a concern, learn to live with it, because it won't get addressed. Part-time and newly hired employees are often let go without warning and replaced by interns in an effort to save money and still get stuff done. They ask employees to write positive reviews online so that nobody will know what it's actually like to work there. It's not a good place to start a career. Office assistants get maybe 10 hours a week, if that. Entry-level ABA therapists sometimes have to drive up to 45 minutes to in-home client sessions, sometimes with minimal training or instruction because nobody thinks to put effort into training new hires, because they'll just get let go in a few months. Overall, it's a toxic company. Stay away. Even if you want a career in special ed or social work, stay away. I promise you can do better than this.

Pros

Clients - it's great to see them and their families and create that relationship. Co-workers - for the most part, everyone is nice, however, there is a huge divide so be wary.

Cons

You will feel unsupported and worthless by upper management. The disorganization and lack of communication within this company is absolutely ridiculous. People here care too little about the work they provide. It's unfortunate that clients have to suffer due to the laziness of workers there. Getting paid on time also seems to be an issue that occurs way too often. There is too much of a clique vibe, a lot of backstabbing, high turnover and favoritism. So unless you are friends with higher ups, be cautious. Loyalty means nothing at this company. This, by far, is the worst company I've ever worked for.
