Pros

Ping pong table, chess, free lunch and dinner are provided. Employee's choose their working hours, which can also be problematic when working in a team.

Cons

Utter disfunction and chaos runs deep throughout the company. Any start-up has growing pains. This is not just growing pains. There is no organization systems like PDM or PLM. Parts come in and out, it is only tracked via Team's message or email, sometime excel or confluence. These problems are made worst by the pandemic. The company is held together by strings. Everyone plays the blame game instead of taking responsibility to fix it or work together. Backstabbing and threats to be fired is a weekly occurrence. The deadline for projects can only be described as absolutely insanely fast and impossible given the state of the world. Management doesn't care about the engineers. They care about one thing only, meeting their impossible schedule. The dirty politics and lack of leadership is apparent.

Pros

There are some positive points about the company. They offer free lunch, dinner, snacks, and a ping pong table. The benefits are good. It has growth potential.

Cons

A toxic workplace with bullies and verbal harassment. A place where good ideas go to die. If someone has a different opinion, don't share it. This is not the place for healthy discussion to share opinions and ideas. Why? Schedule matters more to the company than providing good products. It is an insane schedule that would be extremely difficult to meet in a typical year. During a global pandemic and supply chain problems, the schedule is impossible to meet. The executives and managers don't care. They push, scream, and shout to get the project moving forward at an unbelievable fast pace. Inevitably, the project becomes overbudget and plagued with problems. Then they blame everyone else for the problems associated with the project. Extremely toxic with everyone blaming someone else for their own failures. There is no direction, barely any teamwork, and very little instructions. Everything is decided on the fly without discussion or a second thought. Product is therefore pushed out the door before testing can even begin. No one ever takes ownership of the problems or gives directions to others. The only direction is to meet the insane schedule. Despite global supply chain problems, there is little to no flexibility on schedule deadlines. Dirty politics and backstabbing have become routine, unfortunately. It bleeds to every department throughout the company. The company lacks a real PLM or PDM system. Everything is tracked by teams messages, email, or internal servers. Usually, a hard-to-find excel sheet. Parts are either lost or not tracked. The dysfunction is so clear.

Pros

Free Lunch, Drinks, and snacks.

Cons

A toxic workplace with bullies and verbal harassment. Blame and shame by management for their mistakes. Greed oriented mindset, Steel from Paul to pay Peter mentality. Gouge the customer for as money as possible. No ethics. Big Egos. Company is ok delivering product that has not be qualified and tested to ensure safety. Customer mad because equipment doesn't work and is year behind schedule. Vapor ware selling. Sad because the staff is smart and tries to get the job down. Management provides little to no support for the staff. The company lacks a real PLM or PDM system.
