      Pros

      Met a few good folks while working there.

      Cons

      Management. I cant stress this enough. They never give raises despite what these other reviews say. Worked there almost two and a half years and never anything. People who had been there much longer than I, even 8 years with no raise. no place to go. Sure they have there select few, People they bring in and pay a little more than they should get so they are yes men for the upper eschelon. No matter what in the performance reviews you are never doing enough. Purposely rated bad so they wont give a raise. Not to mention always looking for someone to blame. I could go on. Spoken to many other former employees who agree. The Phoenix group is the worst one to work with.

      Just Go Along Until Something Better Comes Your Way

      Pros

      There will always be plenty to do, good or bad. Worked on a few good and interesting projects, but had to work out incomplete designs that were released to Production. I had the opportunity to learn some new technologies while getting the job done. Some in the union worked well in ironing out issues and had good ideas.

      Cons

      I felt I was only there to execute others directives. You don't feel important as long as trucks were out the door and being delivered. But if something went wrong look for them to find a fall guy. Way too much time wasted in fixing problems, finalizing designs on the Line. The plant and surrounding area is toxic. It was an old piston ring plant where plating process waste was handled and dumped. Asbestos still remains on location.

      Good people, relaxed work environment, small company

      Cons

      Poor upper management. President only concerned about Sales team, never leaves his office let alone knows what's going on on the floor. Parent company in Chicago and they have no clue what this facility has to ensure with their decisions. No direction, wrong people in Director roles, turnover high in management positions, quality systems very poor.
