I worked at AutogenAI for a little over a year, and it was one of the most toxic companies I've experienced. The strong blame culture here stifles productivity—teamwork is undermined by constant finger-pointing and borderline bullying. People often fear stepping up due to the likelihood of backlash.
Leadership is unapproachable and dismissive, which makes improving the culture feel impossible. There's little to no direction from senior management, with decisions frequently delayed or avoided altogether. The company’s direction changes so frequently that employees feel unanchored and frustrated. No matter how hard you work, it never seems to be enough, leaving morale low and employees feeling undervalued.
Favoritism is also a problem. Some employees coast by while others face disproportionate scrutiny and obstacles, especially if they aren't in the "favored" circles. My time at AutogenAI was demoralising, and I left feeling inadequate—so much so that I now worry I’m not good enough for roles I apply for.
