EVERYTHING ELSE. This woman is diabolical. She probably has THE biggest ego of a small business owner. She would yell at vendors and employees, in front of others. She would be indecisive and late to make decisions OR make decisions and then blame other people when the plan did not work out. the crazy thing is, they wanted everyone to read this book about working in a non toxic work environment. What a joke.. She had no idea how to run a business but wanted to be treated like a celebrity or super star - expecting literally everyone to wait on her hand and foot. She was "sweet" on the outside but her energy was so bad that it was definitely not masked. It was everyone else's fault that things went left. She overspent and it was someone elses job to tell her (even though she never listened) ...Vendors would rush to do things for her and she said she appreciated it but if there was one wrong stitch , when it came time to pay, she would try to hold it against them so she could get out of paying. When it was time to pay vendors, literally every singlet ime, she would find something they did wrong to aim to decrease their invoice. She blames everyone but her self for her company failing. And god forbid you disagree with her, she would gaslight you and try to manipulate you into seeing her point of view. One time she wanted a worker who had set hours & another job, to stay to help her because she showed up hours late (because "could you imagine having your dream job and then the designer asks you to stay and you say you can't ... we need to go back to the days of (what can be summed up as hazing)" ) She always led introductions with how much money she raised for her business. How great would it have been if you actually new how to manage it.
