Pros

Some of the people (the ones who aren’t licking their way in a position) are actually really nice. Free tea and coffee if you drink it. Big canteen, so you could actually be alone if needed.

Cons

Salary - It’s actually a joke for the job role and the rubbish you’re expected to take from customers. Every year the SMT would be over the moon with their white envelopes to give to staff for their pittance of a pay rise. SMT - 2 ops managers were lovely, one of them... if evil had a face it was her. She was notorious for bullying staff, making up lies to get staff into trouble or get them sacked. Shifts - The Sunday shifts were absolutely vile, the company has its head so far up Admiral’s rear end they mirrored their shifts, poor CS staff took some stick on a Sunday due garages being closed and the hire companies being closed. Personal Email’s were not allowed. Anything issued to a customer from an email went via a generic email box there was no proving anything. CSA’s are expected to be swore at, screamed at and personally attacked over the phone and should you respond in any way or terminate the call you were in big trouble. Management choose their friends for promotions and secondments rather than those who can actually do the job.

Pros

Very few. As a former employee (who has gone on to far better things), looking back it is hard to see the positive aspects of this wantonly uncaring company. A few good souls work there, not naming names, however, most have left now anyway so I hear. In all honesty, the best I can say is that employees had free parking, free coffee and a free pool table. And given the length of time I worked there, that's pretty sad.

Cons

Where do I begin. Is it with the inept and abrasive management or the general lack of communication and cohesiveness within their structure and policy. Perhaps I should regale you with tales of gross misconduct that went unheeded due to someone being slightly higher up the food chain than someone else. Talking on your phone, taking personal calls at work? No problem, as long as you sit at a desk on the end of a spine. Speaking of spines, more or less every manager (I can think of 2 named exceptions) seemed to have to undergo a compulsory medical procedure upon starting with the company that involved the removal of said body part. In short, I cannot think of a more impersonal, uncaring gabble of completely inadequate and supercilious people. It is a blessing and relief to be gone from a company where my everyday life feels like an in the flesh tour of Dante's Inferno. If you want a thankless job and to be supervised by people who go out of their way to make you feel inferior to them (not that this is possible when we are talking about people who are somewhere between a cockroach and the white stuff that accumulates at the corner of your mouth when you're really thirsty) then by all means, apply today. There will be a vacancy as the turnover is high.

Pros

An hour for lunch break

Cons

The office draws up the routes but when they forget to activate the tol charge they put the blame on the drive and expect them to pay the fine even though it was the office who failed to activate the payment process when setting up the routes, The manager is a bully and always puts the blame onto others and never takes responsibility upon his own faults, Is depressing and stressful based on where management have no respect for employees properly.
