Pros

- It’s a great place for early career development (new graduates or interns) where they will learn a lot about the aviation industry and product certifications. - Avionica’s employees are very friendly and willing to help in every way possible. - Nothing else really.

Cons

- Teams are constantly changing and so are your monthly wait daily tasks. - Not a lot of room for growth within, they hire external contractors and don't promote within. - It’s all politics: you will be trying to win in a world where hard work and talent are not enough. - The big boss can come to you and change your task without going through your superiors and without giving you extension on your current project. Yes its 7 days a week job and may be take some work home just for fun. - Employments cuts always happened right before the Bonus distribution. - Questions to ask during your interview: How many hours am I expected to work a week, what was the last four bonus payouts, what will be the yearly cost for your health care insurance for a family, and ask the interviewers what degree(s) do you hold.

Pros

Great place to work as an intern or a new engineer. However this is not a place to grow and continue your career. Co-workers are some of the best people out there. Great attitudes and fun to work with.

Cons

Priories are constantly changing. Executives are not easy to work with. You will be held responsible for all poor management decisions. Those poor decisions recently led to lay offs that are straining an already strained small company.

Not a great place to work

Pros

About the only Pro for Avionica is that the workers level people are very friendly and helpful. Oh and they do give you free lunch on Fridays

Cons

Management is all about burnout. The work you seven days a week month after month. You are expected to come in if you want to keep your job despite receiving less than average pay. There is no balance of family and work. It's all work and they don't care about family. All the extracurricular activities are for staff only. Family is never invited. Training is non-existent and so is opportunity for advancement. If you want a dead end job this is the place for you, but otherwise I would not recommend it.
