When the inevitable mess happens from these constant changes, blame gets weaponized downward in a blatant scapegoating tactic—especially around layoffs, where it feels like management sacrifices people to protect their own positions. This isn’t incompetence; it’s a calculated fear factory that destroys trust, burns people out, and chases away anyone capable. Pure survival mode over actual leadership.
