Pros

Hight salary, no benefit package but the salary is enought to cover everyting. Hiring process is easy to pass.

Cons

Literally everything Initial onboarding takes very long, they present all the policies of the company for you to read for 3 months. And they have policies for EVERYTHING, I mean it, How to talk to each other, smoke breaks, how to talk by phone, report on collagues, email rules, how to keep files how to STEPLE them, and many more. If something is not present in the policy documents you cant do that or talk about it, if you try, everyone will act as if you haven't said anything and go ahead. Every converstaion is around a line "According to a policy...." You have to talk through a strict hierarchy to achieve something, if possible. Everyone will send a copy of a policy to you and state you have done something wrong. No matter where you are in the world you have to strictly align your work schedule with EST/EDT time and no minute is allowed to shift. Even if you are doing something no one can even theoretically realte to such as reading a document 8 hours straight. Company tracks every minute you are in front of the computer. Screenshots every 2-3 minutes and if you open a side chrome tab you have to explain later why you did that. You have to turn your camera on and with strict tracking you need to sit in front of the screen read policies under a supervision. Be cautious with your gestures, they tell a lot about your study (they think), Technologies are very old. WPF with Oldest versions of .NET and no forward looking management and staff. No career growth as an engineer. They use SVN as a version control and do not have plans to change it. The only up to date tech is Jira. Code reviews are done to see if the code is aligned with POLICIES and not engineering-wise. There's a BELIEF called Scientology which is the study behind the working style. Explore it and if you have even a little missagreement, do NOT join the company. Be prepared to state some extraordinary things you are going to do for the company and it's not a joke if you fail to do it. To wrap up, you might have more flexibility and career/life growth with the office based job then with their high salary and tough tracking system.
