Pros

Has great "product:" within its industry. Maybe the "best" processing outfit out there...Phone "managers" seem to want to help you close the sale, or close the sale with you

Cons

Very deceptive about the supposed "leads/set appointments"... They do NOT set "appointments"....the people they send you out to see are NOT "expecting" you. In ALL 10 instances (I tried 10 of their "appointments" before I finally gave up) NOT ONE was an appointment in the sense that they are expecting you and actually WANT to sit down with you. I had one business owner actually point a knife at me and scream "....you were lied to-I tried to tell these people NOT to send you here!!!" .....just a truly horrid scene. Yet management told me it was the "best" business model in this industry.....it works for THEM but not the agent in the field! ...and don't get me started on their "training"-7 hours of my life I will NEVER get back!

Pros

Fedex package came on time for the training materials. That's about it.

Cons

This company has many many different names. Just do a quick google search on their address: 3350 Boyington Drive Carrollton, TX 75006 You will find many different names for the same address, with different phone numbers. Here are the list of names they used in the past: Certified Payment Processing, which was TMG, TransTech Merchant, Group, Summit Merchant Solutions and Intrepid Payment Processing, and now they are Axis Payments. By now, you should already feel sketchy. If not, just use one of the names above and put in Google and read all the reviews you can find. AGAIN, all the above names are from the SAME EXACT COMPANY, THE SAME EXACT PEOPLE ! This is how they work: They will accept just about anyone. They will say you are sent out to pre-approved appointments to meet with small businesses who are interested in the service they provide. BUT THAT IS NOT TRUE. These businesses do not expect you, often times, when you come and ask for the person you were provided the name with, it was the waiter, or the waitresses, or the front desk person, not even the business owner. Many times, you will get angry owners who swear to god that they have tried everything they could to stop the company to send out the reps to their businesses to sell the payment processing service. Here's the kicker: most businesses already have a good service from their own banks. Do you think you can win them out with a dodgy company which has changed their names several times?? Also, don't forget the lies. They will say whatever they think you like to hear to get you to go to those businesses. Just remember, whatever fancy words they use, this is DOOR-TO-DOOR SALES. If by now, you still decide to give this a try, be prepared, YOU WILL MEET ANGRY BUSINESS OWNERS. YOU WILL WASTE YOUR ENTIRE WEEKS OR MONTHS WITHOUT ACTUAL INCOME.

Pros

The work hours were decent.

Cons

This company is Certified Payment Processing, which was TMG, TransTech Merchant, Group, Summit Merchant Solutions and Intrepid Payment Processing. All they did was changed their name. It's still the same company and senior managers. The new President Andy Frankel use to own Apex Merchant Group which was sued by the state of Minnesota for deceptive practices. Read all you can before you accept a position. They are very poorly led and have hundreds of negative reviews and previous law suits. The positive reviews are all fake and posted by someone in-house.
