      Established company with significant resources

      Cons

      Unwise hiring of upper management over several years. Insufficient efforts made to address grievances and retain key talent. Them versus us mentality rather than team building. Business appears to be declining year by year.

      Good opportunities to travel, working with students is often great

      Cons

      Serious management challenges effect all aspects of the job. Lack of training and support. Delays in getting help when you are dealing with children is unacceptable. Unspoken hierarchy and unless you're part of the inner circle, good luck.

      With the host family I am set up with, it does not feel like a job at all. It is so much fun particularly when you already love spending time with kids

      Cons

      Having come from outside of Germany, there are moments when you really miss being back home and just being with your family.
