Pros

The only silver lining here is the pay, but when you factor in how they treat you and what you have to endure, it's far from sufficient or fair, especially when you look at the hefty annual incomes of the executive team.

Cons

Hey there! If you're about maintaining that ideal work-life balance, cherishing quality family time, and, of course, getting fair compensation for your efforts, then it’s paramount that you heed the cautionary tale I’m about to share. This company, sadly, is far from the haven it may initially appear to be. And trust me, you might want to think twice. First and foremost, their respect for their employees is notably lacking. They don’t appreciate the value of your time, nor do they consider the responsibilities that come with family life. While free lunches may seem like a tempting perk, the reality is a far cry from what you’d expect. They’ve proven themselves to be the most disorganized and disrespectful company I’ve had the displeasure of working for. But that's not even the half of it. They've been pretty shady. They straight-up lied to many of us about our job terms, and when we caught on, they just brushed it under the rug when the truth was uncovered. All that talk about integrity and making the world a better place? It's pure baloney. Many of us felt deceived, which caused a ton of stress for our families. Now, if you've got a disability, I'd strongly advise you to steer clear. Their lack of accommodation is not only concerning but potentially illegal. They dragged their feet for months when it came to my ADA paperwork, and when they finally received recommendations from my healthcare provider to help manage my disability, they resorted to illegal termination, alleging that I “didn’t meet the demands of the job.” This is blatant discrimination and a clear violation of the law. The insurance was a total mess, more like paying for everything out of your own pocket and feeling totally misguided when it came to picking the right plan. As for their internal workings, there's just no order whatsoever. Nobody's on the same page. That leads to a whole lot of incorrect info floating around, and you can bet that call center reps bear the brunt of it when travel agents and guests get frustrated. And don't even get me started on the supervisors – they think they're above everyone else. Superiority complex. They've been caught saying some not-so-great stuff. They don’t respond to emails, skip important conversations, and generally, they treat you like a ghost. Be ready to dust off your resume shortly after training – like a lot of us did. So, in a nutshell, while this company might seem shiny on the outside, the reality is quite the opposite: think chaos, lies, discrimination, and zilch in the support and respect department. It's a bumpy ride, to say the least. If I’m being completely honest, losing that job turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. This job? Well, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

Pros

Family feeling, easy access to all levels of management. Good product and opportunity to do better and differently now the company is independent from RCG. Open to new ideas.

Cons

Many of the existing staff comes from RCG. Big company mentality in a start up scenario. High resistance to change and low levels of confidence in the company’s new journey outside RCG. High turnover and lack of growth opportunities. Not so competitive salaries in comparison to other companies in the sector. Too many chiefs and not enough indians…

Pros

Room for advancement (to a degree). They are willing to listen to ideas from employees. Most of the low-level supervisors and team leads are awesome.

Cons

They micromanage every little second of the day. They are willing to put you in a higher position but not give you a raise. They give you hope that you might be able to move up in the company and then never follow through. Need to work on communication. They have no issue laying off or firing really amazing employees if it benefits their bottom line despite the help they provide for other employees.
