Pros

When you have to work late hours, they buy you dinner and provide a car service to get home.

Cons

-Poor leadership - incapable of managing workload so it's handled efficiently and without chaos. -No respect for employees. If you have a suggestion, they will belittle it in front of everyone. No respect for recruiters or even the owners. There was constant trash talking. -Overworking employees - they make you design copious amounts of garments, however, they NEVER use any of your work. -Bullying - degrading and diminishing behavior from "leaders". Management feels threatened by any outside opinion and will make sure to enforce their tyranny with an iron fist. -Fear - the management wants you to fear them and they will do anything in their power to make you lower yourself. -Favoritism - they would treat certain people differently than others. If you were a male, you definitely got special treatment. -Ungrateful for the work you've accomplished. You will never hear any positive feedback. -Petty requests - you are expected to clean up after your boss when she carelessly throws color standards everywhere. If your boss needs writing utensils or post-its, you must run down the hall and fetch them at that very moment.

Pros

free soda and beverages, a handful of people are capable and nice

Cons

POOR BUSINESS STRATEGY, POOR COVID MANAGEMENT, POOR EVERYTHING! there is no long term plan for brands to survive, only to sell as much as possible for next season even tho production cant meet on time delivery (not even close!!). there is no incentive for retailers to maintain bci's brands when there is so much competition and hardship getting goods to stores... the designs arent even cute or trend relevant. during covid, management only got worse!!! everyone was forced to come into the office even tho many roles could wfh. people crowded together for meetings like theres no pandemic with many people commuting to work by mass transit. masks are not enforced. several people tested positive among numerous scares, leading to so much unecessary anxiety. when they finally got dividers put in they didnt even actually shield u from ur human neighbor, just separated ur desk belongings- a waste of money and effort even if u talked to ur boss about any of ur concerns, no one wants to listen or be the one to speak up to upper mgmt.

Pros

The company paid salaries which were higher than the market value in order to retain their staff. Staff to work ratio was low, therefore most employees were forced to learn skills outside of their job description, thus giving them a broader spectrum of experience in the work force.

Cons

Absolutely no quality of life. The workload is overwhelming and it's expected that employees work until all hours of the night, sometimes leaving well past midnight with no additional compensation as well as working during vacations and weekends from home. You are expected to be on call virtually 24/7.
