Pros

Majority of the people you work with are nice. Higher management are nice but have no idea what's going on within the support desk. Facilities are good.

Cons

Lack of promotion for the ones that deserve it as they're doing a good job and can't be replaced. Management are too focused on the sales side of the business that support gets ignored and are left fighting for scraps. They replace annual salary increases with monthly pizza's. Lower management have no idea what they're doing and they dish out senior and management titles to give people a sense of purpose without the salary to match it. During covid, you were forced into working from the office even when testing positive. They've grown too big too quick. They bought out a failing company in Leeds and then decided to take on all their policies and ways of working.

Pros

-Great team leader who listens to any troubles you have -Excellent benafits, from bupa health car , sallary sacrifice for tec and even electric vehicles -Good Pention advise -Opportunities to visit different customer sites and learn about different customers which gives you variety of different IT roles

Cons

-Worked to the bone -Really have to work hard and even threaten to leave to get a pay increase -Broken promises , personally I have not had any qualification / certification training in the last 4 years as promised -Can at times be stressful due the lack of processes ,with handover of tasks from sales to support

Pros

Technical staff are very friendly and don't promote a backstabbing culture to eachother. Always willing to help and step in for eachother. Work / life balance is good with WFH. Overtime isn't expected and paid respectively when it does happen.

Cons

Poor holiday allowance. No sick pay at all. Either work sick or lose a full day pay until SSP. Care and appreciation towards existing staff dropped massively. Rarely ever deliver on promises such as pay reviews, personal development plans, staff needs etc.. Forced to go down certification root with no support towards it. Expected to be done in your own time but should be grateful an exam voucher is provided. Pay does not reflect progression, inflation or market value after joining the business, likely to be stuck on the same wage for years. Belittled a lot by senior management to try distract from progression elsewhere.
