Pros

The free coffee Sometimes they may allow you to arrive after 8 am You have assistant to help you

Cons

The unrealistic expectations of management The huge books you are expected to complete You can lose your job at any time All the kids have to is complain they "do not understand" and you are out They pile things one on top of each other, like the exams and a competition for all schools on the same day They do not like criticism You have no rights They fire you willy nilly The work and marking system is onerous. You are expected to put in marks for participation, classwork, homework, quizzes for every section and they then seperate it into core and supplemental. You would need a degree to understand the marking system. The lack of appreciation

Pros

-very busy HR team writing positive reviews - very busy recruitment team trying to fill all the empty positions - very busy teachers working hard on all the required paperwork

Cons

First things first. When nobody agrees with a Glassdoor review, it's probably either fake or just not truthful LOL. There are 20 amazing glorious reviews about how BFITS is the best employer in the world...and then there are a few honest negative reviews that many people agree with. And now to share my perspective: - They pay just enough to make sure teacher's aren't homeless - They are corporate as heck, to include the toolish millionaire executives - They expect tons of paper forms AND tons of data entry about classes - They do not support teachers - They will fire you in a heartbeat without a second thought

Pros

There are no benefits to working for BFITS. The teachers are desperate and miserable.

Cons

The problem is that the same type of owners and managers that run the Thai manufacturing sweat shops run the education companies and job agencies. BFITS is the best example of this. There is a Thai owner, a member of the leisure class that feels no obligation to provide teachers with a living wage. No obligation to insure safe and healthy work conditions. His only interests are to cut costs and increase profits. The business model is set up so that teachers are treated as indentured servants. Teachers pay for their own work equipment including laptops and office supplies. The prices are set by the company, and payment is deducted from the teachers' paychecks. If anyone complains, or asks for better treatment they are fired. Visa gets cancelled. Work permit gets cancelled. Final paycheck is withheld. And this all happens within one day.
