Great engineers completely wasted on this company
Pros
This likely has changed since posting, but at the time of this writing there are some truly great engineers I've had an excellent experience working with both professionally and personally.
Cons
The best engineers are forced out through the many rounds of layoffs or untenable work environments. The on-call rotation is unpaid, brutal, underappreciated, and frequently called upon. The salary is uncompetitive, the benefits nonexistent, and the culture toxic. Failures in software require faces to blame so code defensively. There have been many opportunities to change company culture and open feedback given to multiple management layers with the response being to shut any systems of direct feedback available and double down on top down leadership. There are more Violas' than competent leadership in the entire company.
