Cons
Night auditor checklist is twice as long compared to AM/PM checklist. Most of it being supervisor work at other properties and they DO NOT compensate for a night shift! BMI only pays minimum wage for all and won’t budge.
Great bonus structure if ownership allows for a tangible goal. On property, the team was amazing and the GM has full control over hiring/firing.
Cons
My direct report was difficult to communicate with. If you need a pat on the back or any type of support, this isn't the upper management or corporate team for you. GM is expected to do everything without any amount of training or support including Accounting, Controller, Human Resources, Unemployment, Revenue, Sales, etc.
