Pros

One good thing is the area. Also, you can pretty much wear whatever you want and you might meet some nice people along the way.

Cons

The owners are as shady as they come. They will consistently talk about their employees behind their back and get their employees to turn against each other. I have seen it happen on multiple occasions and it was even attempted against me. Please do not believe the positive reviews that you see, I almost can guarantee to you they are made up by the owners. There is absolutely no room for growth here. If you start in sales that is where you are going to stay so please don't be fooled. They will publicly embarrass you if you mess up and do not do much to make you feel comfortable.

Pros

co-workers, building location, some of the Managers

Cons

everything- i would put 0 stars if it was allowed, because even 1 star is too much. Please do not waste your time applying here. Any of the positive reviews about this job are FAKE, and HR is probably just putting in overtime to write corny things like "Keep on trucking!"?? Give it up already. Even if you are desperate for a job, do not work here. Anywhere else is better. Everyone who works here hates their life. You will be lied to about the high possibility to make thousands in commission, when really only 3 people in the entire company make a decent income. And even those people are so stressed- is it truly worth it? Probably not. A job that literally moves freight, should not be at the same stress level as a doctor- THIS JOB LITERALLY HELPS NO ONE. IT COULD BE DONE BY A MONKEY. Work here only if: -you hate yourself -you love the terrible pay -you want to work every day of the year because you only get 5 days PTO and 5 vacation (people who are managers at McDonalds get better benefits than that) -you want to work for a company that will probably not be around in 5 years because of poor financial management - you like to get yelled at to make more money for the company because of their own mistakes just so that the CEO can walk around in his Canada Goose and stalk everyone - you like to drink to forget your sorrows because you hate your job so much - you like to work from 7am-5pm and never get the opportunity of leaving early (these hours are not standard to the industry, don't let them lie to you. ask anyone at echo, TQL, CH Robinson) - you want to work somewhere where the turnover rate is RIDICULOUSLY HIGH- that should speak for itself. Almost everyone uses their lunch time to apply for other jobs because they literally hate their life. JUST DON'T DO IT. any other logistics company will hire you with better benefits, culture, pay, and hours.

Pros

Office is in the Loop which is cool

Cons

DO NOT WORK HERE. I read all of these negative reviews before I started and thought that the people writing them could be the issue here and not the company. WRONG. I lasted one week at this company before getting fired because, "it's just not gonna work out." I did not do a single thing that warranted being fired. The HR trainer was reassuring my co-worker who started the same time as me, that we will do great on the sales floor! He also got fired, about a month later for no reason whatsoever. This company preys on college grads who will take anything as their first 9-5. It felt awesome to have a job before I graduated college and then for it to be taken away... just like that for 0 reason. I even asked the HR person who was training us, why BMM has such bad Glassdoor reviews? She said most logistic companies have awful reviews from past workers and people that work with the company. Was she lying? Probably. But if she wasn't lying then take this as your sign to not work in this career. Unless you enjoy cold calling and working 9 hours a day talking about freight and semi-trucks. The other sales people were very nice and helpful, HR trainer was cool but the training was long and boring. The CEO is one of the most full of himself persons that I have ever met in my life. He constantly interrupted the training that we were doing with stories of him bragging and talking about how awesome he is. So unbelievably annoying, I feel bad for anyone who has ever interacted with him. He mentioned to us that he had to put a bunch of recent sales people that just graduated college "on hold," because he was about to hire people with experience in the field. I can almost guarantee that the recent college grads never ended up stepping foot in that office and that HR gave them some awful excuse as to why they couldn't start working. Pay is trash, the commission structure is a joke and all of these 5 star reviews on this site are 500% fake. "Sometimes you have to work Saturdays" "It takes a little bit to get the ball rolling here" Goodbye. DO NOT WORK HERE
