Pros

Great facility, in demand product, thorough process, high standards for vehicles, presentation and performance.

Cons

Very corporate, required to wear a white or blue collared shirt (no other colors), communication with management can be difficult, things can fall through the cracks if you don't stay on top of everything yourself.

Pros

BMW Seattle is a great place to work because of the friendly staff and great hours. As a service porter, I work 3 days a week and still achieve full time hours. The fast paced environment ensures that you wont have a dull moment as there is always something you can do to be productive so being bored is very rare. You are quickly welcomed by the staff and you feel as if you are family. You only need to work with us for a week before you feel like you've been there for years. We work hard and play hard.

Cons

Stress is an understatement when it comes to meeting the strict demands of BMW owners. It's hard to convince a customer who just spent 3,000 dollars in repairs to have to wait half an hour for their vehicle to be washed when they were told it's done. That being said, there are other factors that can make the job stressful. As a service porter you are the go getter for everything. That means if you're in the middle of doing something and a manager wants something else done you have to drop what you're doing to complete the task. The 13 hour a day shift can be too much for some but if you're okay with it than that shouldn't be a problem.
