Pros

Plenty of opportunities to work outside of your scope to gain experience in other areas.

Cons

When I was interviewed I was under the impression that this was a growing company with bright future. After a few months it became clear that they are not. What made be believe that they were a good company beside what was said in the interview was there reviews written on glass door. All the company info, and pictures are false. The picture are all from employees that worked with them years ago and they are long gone, and nothing but big open space that is unoccupied. The revenue in the company overview don't add up since they have only 2 clients that are not even big brands. Also, if they were making that much in revenue with only 5-8 employees. How come they can't manage to get there employees paid on time? Management seems to be desperate to try and attract high level prospects from similar industries just to see if they can get some new business, and if you don't deliver they really don't care about you. They also can be disrespectful to others to who they think they can take advantage of. This may be a good job for newbies or if you are looking to get experience but I highly would not recommend to my friends or family to work at this place.

Not transparent with employees, terrible leadership qualities

Pros

If you’ve never had agency experience, this job will give you a “high gear” kind of experience. You’ll really brush up on multi-tasking skills and client interaction and it can be good experience for the short term.

Cons

Long term, this isn’t a job you would want to stay in as a career path. The leaders of the company do not actually possess leadership skills nor the ability to run the company or employees. It can be very unhealthy most often than none, mentally and physically. Employees are given work that will dramatically exceed their job expectations. There is no work/life balance because employees are constantly under pressure to meet very strict deadlines. There is also no kind of training; making it easier for employees to make mistakes on the client level which in turn hurts the clients only. Turnover is very high; employees are almost always leaving by their own choice. Management likes to spin it but each person who has worked here knows the truth. The company is run at a very high level when it is just a start up: being so the CEO is seen as an “untouchable”. It is very difficult to get any time with them meanwhile it is a very very very small team of employees with an even smaller client base. Events are done very half-heartedly; hardly any planning takes place so everything is done on the fly, causing mistakes to be made. And they are not in any way transparent with their team, their clients, or the public with how the company is actually doing. When employees leave, their reasoning is that they were “unfit” for bold or the environment. I don’t see that being true. People leave because their quality of life is in jeopardy the longer they stick around.

Very poor business

Pros

It was fun watching Brian Cristiano always make a fool of himself and get paid for doing hardly any work. No clients so I mostly sat around doing nothing because Brian was never around.

Cons

Brian Cristiano is a wannabe entrepreneur and more focused with promoting himself versus actually running a business. He dresses like he's 13 and walks around like his a big shot, but couldn't find his way out of a closet. When I was there, BOLD had 3 employees. No one really knew what they were doing and we mostly sat around as there weren't any clients. It was difficult to find potential clients because too many organizations knew about Bold's poor history. The team only worked on Brian's growing bold series where he paid people to speak with him. Its all fake. Its actually sad. The business operated without any planning and was always suffering from debt. If you want real experience choose a different agency. Don't trust an agency to help you that cant help itself.
