Pros

The friendship between employees makes the difference, and your days are much easy to handled. The turn over is very high.

Cons

No consistency in some rules to follow-up is depends who is, and favoritism with some people is frecuently observed. Some supervisors and tem leads are disrespectfully with some employees, instead of motivate them, they treat them badly resulting in a bad work environment.

Pros

Benefits Some of the Donors Some of the workers Repetitive

Cons

Over the years I’ve noticed that Biotest Plasma Lincoln, doesn’t have the same vision, mission, and principles that attracted me to work for the company. The management team wasn’t really that effective, the center ran on toxic work culture. Ranging from politics, favoritism, drama, and etc. which really didn’t make them a very effective team. Turn over rate has always been high and management gave a lot of cover-up’s for it, ranging from; students graduating, focusing on school, moving out of state, and etc. when it isn’t really the case and real reasons would range from; micromanaging, non flexible schedules for students, frame ups, toxic work culture, and etc. These can be verified by former employees, so I suggest contacting former employees to verify this. Hard work was never appreciated nor acknowledge sincerely. Employees who were considered to be part of their clique, were the only ones who were usually recognized. We were undervalued and treated as dispensable. In the past years I’ve worked at the Lincoln branch, they’ve only recognized and given promotions to employees who’ve flattered them, instead of focusing on employees with actual knowledge mastery. There have been employees who’ve worked for the center for years that have actual knowledge mastery, but have never gotten any recognition. Instead management gave recognition to individuals who belonged to their clique, who’s been there less than a year to three months. When employees try to raise concerns or opinions, that goes against management vision, you are then labeled as opinionated and then turned into the bad guy. Management has no uniformity, one says one thing and the other says another thing. They tend to pretend that they know how certain areas work when they don’t. Advancement is near to impossible at this center, since one simple mistake early on will be held against you. To remedy this joining the management clique, enables employees to have leeway’s for mistakes. Management has no considerations for the employees at all, except for those that belong in their clique, and writes employees up for; calling in sick when employees are genuinely sick with doctor’s notes and diagnosis, if an employee gets into an accident, being late. I’ve witnessed employees ranging from management to ordinary employees not getting written up at all for calling in for days or being late for hours, due to them being in the clique. Compared to employees who are really hard working and only calls in once in a while or is late for a few minutes, who gets written up almost instantly. Employees get in trouble for speaking up or reporting problems to HR, and complaints never reach higher HR because they cover it up. I highly suggest implementing a zero tolerance no retaliation policy. Current employees can never speak up for fear of losing their job, when tasked to answer worker surveys (especially when employees are watched heavily when answering) or when higher HR comes for randomized survey. I support Biotest Pharmaceuticals and believes that these issues will be addressed. No one leaves a good company, employees leaves because of bad management.

Pros

It was a very fast paced environment to work in. You do get benefits for full-time and paid days off. If you're part-time, you only can get a few days off and have to work weekends.

Cons

Hard to ever call in sick, so if you have a fever buckle up and go to work. Very limited days. If they send you home early, they use your PTO without telling you. Favoritism is high at this company and not every employee is treated equally. If you're at the bottom of the food chain, sucks. Lots of turnover. Bad schedule flexibility. Never the same schedule.

Pros

It's a job that pays? Donors are nice people...that's really about it.

Cons

Don't respect or value hard working employees, high turn over so they are ALWAYS under staffed, lots of gossip and drama. Lastly, management is probably the worst thing about it all, no leadership skills, horrible communication with employees, lots of favoritism/ nepotism, and incredibly condescending towards employees.

Pros

The company has good wages and benefits for their employees. They also update you on the company goals objectives.

Cons

Too much favoritism and butt kissing. Workers who kiss-up are promoted and treated better than people who work harder and no more about the job. Training sucks altogether.

Pros

Benefits, vacation pay, onthe job training for Phlebotomy. That is all

Cons

I don't know where to begin. Broken promises, faulty and shoddy management, selective diagnosis of performance, favoritism, .. When I was the dsr, I tried coordinating meetings with city council as well as radio interviews. The management made it clear that they wanted to steer clear of interviews or public figures for fear of being asked the wrong questions. One of the first things they demanded upon being promoted was that "all things (unprofessional) that I hear or see stay there.." the center manager is known for saying such outlandish statements as. "THIS IS NO DEMOCRACY, THIS IS A DICTATORSHIP AND I'M THE DICTATOR ". Although that is a matter of opinion, it is a major statement in how he feels towards ANY appreciation for the very people earning his wages. He certainly doesn't earn his way..

Pros

Health benefits package is not bad

Cons

favoritism is like no other in this place. If you work hard and commit yourself to improving this biotest this is not the place for you. This place promotes employees who gossip, parties with management, and for friends with management. There is a lot of cover ups and shaddy business in this company. Employee are not valued in any way. Two employees passed away in the same week and the company did not want to acknowledge their passing or existence.
