Pros

- Nice welcome goodies - Last generation Macbook pro - Friendly communication during hiring process

Cons

I was hired to start at Bryter on April 1, 2022. After quitting my previous job and being all ready to join the company, I received a call 1 week before my start date where I was told I was being laid off because of financial issues. As part of the welcome goodies there was a booklet containing some slack conversations where the management shared their business expansion plans and their achievements. These plans were ambitious and encouraging, I could feel how people were driven by it and I can see why the company grew with these ideas. In addition to it, the messages that I could read seemed full of unbounded emotions. My perception was that this is very good for a company as people need motivation. Sadly I think this is only good if you have a team to bring your ideas down to earth. My perception here is that the financial team at Bryter is very immature. I think the technical and people teams are very solid but they need serious revision of their financial leaders. On the bright side of things, the recruiters who hired me helped me out sharing their connections and luckily finding a job as software developer is not very difficult. But I wanted to write this review so that other people being hired by Bryter consider their financial stability before moving forward.

Thank you for your honest and constructive review. We are very sorry about what happened and we are also glad that our recruiters' efforts to help you with the transition brought you positive results. We are doing our best to learn and improve from that situation, unfortunately, there were many external factors which led to it (a worldwide economic situation we can't control). Thank you once again. - BRYTER Hiring Team

Pros

- The culture of kindness and support is unmatched by any of my previous employers. Even though many of us are in different time zones, everyone is always willing to connect or help out - Independence and autonomy is highly valued throughout the Customer Success team and the organization as a whole. While you can always reach out for support, trust is placed in you to maintain and grow your customer relationships - The company invests in the happiness and growth of its employees by sponsoring training initiatives and providing great benefits and bonding activities

Cons

- As the company grows and expands, it's working to provide more support in some of it's newer areas (not a big con because those in other time zones do try to make themselves as available as possible and the team is growing so rapidly)
