Never got paid on time - and it seemed to be an expected thing with most of the employees who had worked there longer.
Lack of structure - to this day, I'm not sure who my boss/supervisor was supposed to be, but I was told to take most things to the company owner.
"Copycat" work - Majority of the projects we had were re-releases of older work or copies of products released by other companies. Don't expect to work on anything too original.
No training or feedback (until the owner had complaints) - I ended up getting most of my starting paperwork and advise from a coworker. Never got feedback until the owner ran into bugs and called a meeting to complain about QA not finding them (no apologies when it was discovered his outdated build version was the problem either).
Owner/CEO - He can never be told he is wrong or something cannot be done on his timeline. Was rarely at the office, but when he was, there was a lot of tension. Another worker, hired about the same time as me, was abruptly fired after sending a polite email which disagreed with some of the owner's behaviors.
