Pros
A small percentage of the workforce consists of truly great, hardworking people. This is an ideal "first job" for someone straight out of college.
Cons
It is surprising this organization remains viable given the lack of foundational leadership experience at the top. The executive team lacks the professional training necessary to foster a healthy culture, a deficiency that has clearly permeated middle management. Respect is not a part of the internal vocabulary, and the absence of an empowered HR department allows toxic behaviors to go unchecked. This a great job out of college because the company seeks out inexperienced talent they can mold before those employees realize what a professional culture is supposed to look like. Most concerning is the disconnect between the company’s reliance on minority-driven business and its refusal to take a stand on equity or ethics. It’s a soulless environment that lacks the self-awareness to course-correct.
