How are they in business?

Pros

-Direct Access to Upper Management

Cons

-Compensation isn't done in any (perceivable) logical manner and seems to be more on a "let's pay as little as possible to keep them from quitting" basis -No feedback (positive or negative) is ever given - ever. Seriously, ever. -Expected to largely self-manage from day one with no training or direction

Pros

There are some absolutely amazing people working there. At lease those who are director and lower.

Cons

Where to begin... There is a fire first mentality. There are uncommunicated expectations. The "leadership" has no idea what a leader is or does. Plans/ decisions are made and then changed constantly. Owners put their trust in someone who has no business being in a role other than finance. Not a people manager in the slightest. The secrecy and empty promises have really shown employees what the company really stands for.

Deceitful and Conniving

Pros

Properties are closed on Sundays.

Cons

Employees are paid minimally and given no clear expectations. At times, expectations were "established" only to be changed days or weeks later. Intense micromanaging and no positive feedback; either none at all or negative. The human resource department is laughable and only exists (or at least feels like it) to make the employees more stressedl; an accountant looking out for the business' best financial interest should NOT be the point of contact for employment issues. Everything involving pay, benefits or pto/vacation time should be in writing, always, as they are known for saying one thing and doing the opposite then telling you "that is not what we meant".
