Pros

There are genuinely great people here who are smart and care about the product.

Cons

No engineering culture whatsoever. No bonus if KPIs are not hit, and no transparency behind how the KPIs are set. Nobody was held responsible for the recent fire then hire incident. Last minute decisions from upper management or the CEO, coming out of nowhere at the last hour. The engineers and QA absorb the stress from the poor planning. The company no longer feels like it is a music company. The office is dead now and the culture change is the elephant in the room that management refuses to acknowledge.

Autonomy Colleagues generally that care about the industry

Cons

There is no transparency in company management, the "management" team are not qualified to lead teams let alone departments Fear of new ideas and stemming meaningful outcomes Unethical ways of forcing people to resign rather than support them No human or any emotion to employees, very sterile Compensation is probably the lowest in the market No career progression or prospects No upskilling opportunities

Arbitrary decisions, lack of transparency, and declining culture

Pros

Work-life balance used to be good, though it started declining of-late. Remote work flexibility.

* New Joinees- BEWARE, u will be monitored from Day 1, Questions are not encouraged, instead you will be judged & Week 2-3 - you'll be shown the door. * Despite being described as “democratic,” decisions are heavily influenced by a small group, making outcomes feel arbitrary and inconsistent *Employees can be let go without clear or credible reasoning, even after positive performance review history , job security feels very low. *Leadership, particularly on the development side, lacks direction, accountability, and consistent standards *Perceived favoritism and uneven treatment across teams can impact morale and trust *Lack of clarity in priorities; frequent shifts without proper communication *Cross-team communication is weak and often discouraged, leading to silos
