Experience differs based on role, but you're probably better off elsewhere
Pros
Good Salary Option to work remotely
Cons
Lack of trust Lack of encouragement and acknowledgement (or any communication regarding job performance), unless you are in sales "Employees are robots" mentality Elitist leadership that only respects older employees Really boring company culture (lack of enthusiasm for any kind of activity chosen, not many show up, not many participate, lots of awkward silences) Taking time off is looked down upon (even though its flexible time off) No work/life balance Only promises of advancement Horrible HR (lots of mistakes and miscommunications regarding benefits, 401K and other) Bad communication from leadership and management Opinions and ideas outside of leadership are not respected or considered Ultimately, this isn't a start-up in any sense, other than its still kind of small. It feels very much like a large corporation in all the worst aspects and none of the good ones. If you are looking for a tight knit, fun and collaborative "family" vibe, this won't work for you. If you are looking for a rigid, cold, work-work-work type of vibe, then you'll do great here.
