      The dogs can be fun.

      Cons

      Not enough dogs, the pay seems very arbitrary. You never really know how much you will be making per walk, because management decides how you are paid in very vague terms.

During our in-person training sessions, we do our best to help you optimize your understanding of the app so that you can build a schedule that best suits your needs. We would love an opportunity to discuss with you why a payment may not have been what you expected and hear your feedback on how we can better address payment concerns while still keeping walkers accountable to guarantee a great experience for our customers. You are also welcome to return to an additional in-person training session if you feel that the first one wasn't clear. We hope this helps!

      Pros

      I’ve been extremely happy since joining the Barkly Pets team. In particular, some of the many reasons that attribute to that happiness are: - Your teammates trust you. I’ve never had an issue with someone micro-managing me, or dismissing my ideas. - Everyone is open to collaboration. If you need help on something, or need an extra set of eyes - someone is always willing to jump in and do what they can to help. - You have so much room to grow. If you see an area that the company needs help in, you are totally welcome to tackle it. If you want to learn new skills or gain new experiences, everyone is very encouraging of this. All in all, the Barkly Pets team is extremely flexible, caring and genuine. It’s really been a pleasure to work with them so far.

      potentially higher per walk rate since they do not take any cuts from your walk

      Cons

      No dogs to be walked. No one(clients) is using the app so walkers just pay the $10 upfront application fee and just pray that you get at least one walk from the app to cover the upfront fee
