Easy to get hours/days off -if you have school or kids, and you can easily pick up shifts Ability to transfer departments -In case the department you are in is not right for you. Helpful Managers On Duty ("MOD") -MODs jump from departments to help where its needed, and speak with guests Free lunch provided -3 weeks of assorted dinners (Pastas, Tacos, Burgers,ect...) and 1 weeks of Soup & Salad 20-30% Discount on Bavarian Inn Lodge,Local BIL Stores, & Restaurant.
Cons
Inter-department scandals/drama -Many high school/college aged co-workers, and those with childish mentalities. Hours can drop for no reason Must have great review to transfer departments -Review must have no bad comments about anything, regardless of which department you are transferring to. example: "Must be satisfactory in Kitchen duties to be considered acceptable for a transfer to Maintenance." More than often clueless Management (Department Managers/Higher Ups) -Judy Zhender will pop in, show you whats "wrong", leave Department Managers scrambling to make her happy, while other more important work needs to be done. Late Nights -Kitchen open till 11pm. Bar varies on business, Fun Center Open till 11-12am, Public Housekeeping 11-12am, MODs until all shifts are over. "Perks Members" are usually terrible -People who get a small discount on rooms and want more for less. Are also mostly rude. Rare occasions of raises and promotions -Get ready to work twice as hard for the same pay. And kiss ass for meager raises and more often than not useless titles/promotions.
