Pros

Most practices have lovely patients.....unfortunately they are slowly leaving due to our poor service and high prices. Store staff are wonderful, such a shame so many are leaving or placed under huge amounts of stress.

Cons

Unrealistic targets, the aim is purely to sell sell sell with no regard for px care or circumstance. Like to preach about having 45 min appointments for px's. Fail to mention that if you are a child, a recheck or need a CL check this is actually only 15 mins. Unbelievable stress day to day, most of which is due to very poor company organisation and communication. 30 mins for lunch- unlucky for you if your clinic runs late and you get 5 mins. Company like to talk about being a family- we are anything but.

Pros

Honestly none, I am done

Cons

Sadly, they talk the talk but the reality is a completely different story. Royston talks about the big family, however, what a disfunctional family it is when your seniors do not treat you with the respect anyone deserves. Constantly talked down to and being made to feel stupid and undervalued. Morale is incredibly low across the whole group and the SMT know this, however, they choose to ignore this and do nothing about it pushing all employees to their absolute limits. You give them all you have and they still want more. No trust in their team on any level, constantly questioning and when they don’t get the answers they want they ask the same question again, and again, and again!

Challenging but very rewarding

Pros

I have felt very supported not only by my team but by everyone I have come across within the business. My team is amazing and I genuinely love coming to work. I am trusted to do my job and have developed a lot in the last 2 years of my employment. Communication from Royston every Friday is really great. It is a challenging business but the results are very rewarding.

Cons

Growing pains, we have grown rapidly and I do not think every department in central support was ready for it. However, you can see them working hard to rectify this. I do think our benefits could be more aligned with our value of being one great big family.
