The school culture is horrible. The whole point is not to educate kids but to keep them and their parents docile and happy. The administration is just the worst.
I was surprised at how low the pay was compared to the school’s income. Teachers are far less important than facilities and surplus income for its board members. The quality of education varies due to staff politics rather than actual performance. Too much kowtowing to communist China clientele.
