      Great supportive community programs Dedicated staff Dropped Home Support services in 2019 - which was a good thing Better strategic direction and vision from new CEO Great place to start a career and get experience in multiple areas

      Cons

      “That’s the way we’ve always done it” mentality from the old guard Resistance to change It’s a non-profit, wages were never competitive Limited career advancement

      -hard working people with passion and intelligence for what they do -our department works a hybrid model -good benefits -supportive culture

      Cons

      -not much for cons, they try to be competitive with their pay, and have increased salaries these last few years.

      Pros

      Serving seniors, but it is only effective if a team is motivated and not complacent

      Cons

      Senior residents deserve better from staff. Union attitude get in the way of effective teamwork and quality service that could be provided. Divisons between different levels of staff are accepted as the norm.
