Pros

Some of the coworkers are great! There are certain people you can really count on and some you cannot.

Cons

- terrible management (play favorites) - do not allow you to work from home even when you're sick - high turnover rate - no raises or bonuses unless you are a favorite or beg them - cheap - sexism, racism, ageism - sink or swim environment A very toxic environment to work in especially if you are not part of the favorites club or liked by the owners. There is only one good person that is in management and it's not the owners. While, there are good coworkers in the office, this entire company is toxic to work in. There is no real HR so you can't report anything. They do this on purpose. They will not give you raises or bonuses unless of course you are a favorite. Sexism, racism, agism, and harassment all exists at this company. You will find out slowly when you are employed there. They are also cheap, will never bring in cater food or anything unless they are sent from clients, which usually they are. They will not allow you to work from home even when you have Covid or any type of sickness. When asking for a raise, they will beat around the bush or ignore you for days. They truly do not care about their employees, they do not want feedback , or any type of recommendations if it's not up to the owner's standards. This job will give you PTSD. Do not apply here unless you are desperate. Either way you will find a job that pays you more regardless because there is no room for growth here. You will get zero benefit working here. Save yourself.

Pros

You'll learn quite a bit due to responsibilities falling in your lap that you're not trained nor ready for.

Cons

Racism, misogyny, ageism, and sexism run rampant in this business. If that won’t/doesn’t bother you, then I’m sure you can last a long time at this business. There’s no real HR so if you have a complaint or uncomfortable transaction there’s no level of privacy or discretion that’s kept by management. You’re not actually taught, prepped, or given any time to adjust to the workflow. You’re basically just thrown into the pool with everyone else. Management says they’re lax but that’s not the case. Extremely micro-managed depending on which department you work for. Some people are able to work from home and others not, and there’s no discernible reason for the people that are able to work remotely. When brought to management, they laughed at our faces and told us we didn’t know how to run their business. Management also unfortunately lies quite a bit. They’ll say one thing and do another to save face very often. No possible ways to receive raises either, they’ll tell you no almost every time, unless they feel like it. Even after providing reasoning and accomplishments. Employees are even asked to leave good reviews as well. So tread lightly.

Pros

Working alongside some very talented professionals.

Cons

Where to begin… The owners were handed down this company and somehow are okay with very poorly mismanaging it. As the reviews say, if you’re not one of the favorites, don’t expect to be treated with any amount of respect. This is a very tough job for women who don’t lead their careers based on their sexual desirability or free spiritedness. Flirt your way to the top or turn a blind eye to racism, sexism, ageism, misconduct, inappropriate sexual comments and jokes and you’ll do great here. A handful of employees are allowed to work fully remote, while the in-office employees are denied working from home on special occasions or sick days. This office is full of unequal treatment, discrimination, bullying and toxicity. Know your labor laws, because they will take advantage of you if not.
