Pros

Charlotte is a nice, I grew up here. Beasley can be nice to work for if you are in "good" with the market manager.

Cons

Everyone has something illegal going on. Beasley thinks they are working hard for them but almost all of the managers and their friends work hard to fatten their own pockets and take 10 weeks of vacations a year. Too bad they are pulling the wool over Beasley's eyes and getting away wth it. Don't waste your time working here!!!!!!!

Family Company, as long as you are in the family

Pros

Great pre-existing staff, great product, created by those staff. Local management is topnotch, a great place to cut your teeth.

Cons

No room for advancement, no annual raises. The only way that you can make more money is inheriting more responsibility (typically because another staff member has been cut, but even then, not a promise). During Coronavirus outbreak, cut everyone’s pay by 10% for 2 months, seemingly in order to keep the numbers looking okay for investors. CEO is taking a 20% 2 month cut. Our hero. A drop in the bucket by someone who owns a private plane. This company is touted as a “family company” but that seems to refer to actual blood (or married in) family members, and shareholders.

Pros

You get to commiserate with people over your shared problem with this awful company.

Cons

Severely under market pay even by media industry standards and you're consistently told there's 'no room' to get paid more, yet other departments live lives of luxury with perks galore while working a fraction of the hours you do. You're fed this lie while dealing with constantly increased workloads that leave you with no free time and you are barely making enough money to survive.
