Fake Culture

CEO is bright and developed an interesting product

Cons

80% of staff are fake and two-faced. Incestuous, middle class culture, if you're not part of the public school fold, you won't stand a chance. Most staff are intelligent, but condescending and immature.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re sorry to hear you’ve come away with such a negative experience of Beauhurst, that is never our intention. However, we would like to respond to the content of your post as we feel it is both fundamentally inaccurate and a disservice to the people who work here. While we encourage our employees to refer friends and former colleagues for open roles, all applicants go through the same recruitment process. This involves interviews with – and acceptance by – multiple members of staff across the company regardless of where applications have come from. All of our managers are given extensive management training, and have ongoing access to professional management coaches. The quality of our managers has been consistently rated as very high in each of our employee engagement surveys. Regarding diversity, findings from our most recent employee diversity survey include: - Just under one-third of our employees attended a paid/ private school at some point during their education. This is higher than the national average, but still very much a minority of our employees at all levels. - Our diversity of gender, ethnicity, and sexual orientation is significantly greater than the average for UK tech companies. We hire for skill, experience, intellect and drive, irrespective of background or characteristic. We believe this has created a diverse group of supportive and genuine individuals who work hard towards a common goal, as highlighted extensively by our employees in other reviews. Having said this, we are always looking to improve inclusivity in the workplace, and we will of course take your feedback and experience into account for our future work. We are genuinely sorry that your time with Beauhurst did not work out and wish you all the best in your future career. Avoid sales team

Pros

Some friendly people and some nice benefits

Cons

They decided to hire 3 new trainee graduate BDAs and then sacked us all one by one within 3-4months, no real warning and done very insensitively. Sales team management very inexperienced and blamed the new BDAs for their whole sales team being behind on target. Do not train here for your first salez job, you will not be supported. Worst experience ive ever had with an employer.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We’re sorry you didn’t enjoy your experience of a target-driven role at Beauhurst, although we don’t believe this is a fair representation of what happened, or of our Sales team. Within all of our commercial teams, we work hard to make targets clear and achievable, and do everything we can to support the team in achieving them. For those within their first months of the role, this includes: daily support from their manager; a huge knowledge bank full of guidance and advice; and a friendly, lively and experienced office-based team who are always on hand to offer advice and feedback. During recent months, we have also put our entire team through extensive external training to further refine and improve how we go about selling. Our Sales managers would never blame any individual employee for the team’s overall performance, and are hugely committed to each individual’s success. This has contributed to a number of our sales team achieving incredible results, including some recent joiners who had never done a sales role before! Has the potential to be great but isn't (yet)

Pros

Relaxed atmosphere, people are friendly, open environment, awesome office, frequent perks, feedback and imput on how to improve the company are encouraged, ok for a first job.

Cons

Management not great in all departments, some heads of department can't manage effectively, really not good with people. Problems that seem pretty obvious are not addressed but skirted around and turned into something else. Projects are incredibly haphazard, not much process and terrible circulation of changes. Poor communication on an individual and organisation level. I often felt patronised and frustrated by management.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback. We love coming to work in our beautiful office every day, so it’s great that you liked it so much too. We’re also really happy that you enjoyed the atmosphere and all the perks that come with working at Beauhurst. We also know we’re not perfect and are all committed to improving how we work. We’re aware of many of the points you mentioned and have begun working on them. For example, this year we have already: · introduced a new project management function, which is already resulting in much better run projects · improved our long term planning process, as well as getting input on and communicating plans with everyone in the company · introduced more training and coaching for all employees, including managers. In addition to these, we plan to continue to gather more feedback from current employees to help us make Beauhurst an even better place to work. Thanks again for your input.
